Casa in Autogestione Carbonile

I'd been to this place a few years ago, staying one night as a stopover on a hike, and the experience hadn't been entirely satisfactory: the atmosphere was run-down and uncomfortable; the food was barely adequate. A few days ago, planning to repeat the hike with friends, I went to check it out and was pleased to find a renovated space, very different (in a positive sense, obviously) from what I remembered. In addition to visiting it, I stopped for lunch (I had a cheese platter, mixed cold cuts, and focaccia bread), which was very good. Prices are average, not as cheap as under the previous management, but the quality now is unmatched. The service staff is very friendly. My only complaint: there's no price list (for accommodation, breakfast, meals, etc.), which is why I'm not giving it a full rating. Post the price list (also online, thanks) and you'll deserve a full 5! See you soon!

Excellent food. Service could be improved. Reasonable prices. Nice location, even though it's on the road. Better to use as a pit stop for motorcyclists.
