The wine list is equally impressive, offering pairings that perfectly complement the cuisine. Every course exceeded our expectations, leaving us thoroughly delighted. A must-visit for discerning travelers passing through Gstaad.

Unfortunately not many good things to say about this hotel. The location is fantastic, right next to the Gstaad train station and in the heart of Gstaad close to everything you’d need. However, the staff were rude, unhelpful and nearly everyone I spoke to had a passive aggressive attitude and seemed to hate their jobs. The rooms are mediocre at best and definitely not worth the nearly £800 a night price tag. We ended up moving to Ultima Gstaad where I really recommend staying for anyone reading this. Rooms are extremely luxurious and the service you get from the staff is out of this world. Update: also not a big fan that, whilst looking through these reviews, noticed the owner is giving out personal information about each of the customers stays that are leaving bad reviews. In my opinion, I don’t see this to be very professional and it seems that the owner gets very argumentative when given negative feedback when in reality, should be looking at ways to reduce negative feedback by fixing the internal issues at the hotel

Unfortunately, my experience at Bernerhof Gstaad was very disappointing due to poor treatment and lack of understanding from the staff. There was no professionalism in the way we were spoken to, and the attitude was unhelpful and unfriendly. When we raised our concern, no effort was made to solve the issue or even listen properly. For a hotel in such a location, I expected better customer service and respect. Sadly, that was not the case.
