Kings Arms Hotel

Great place to stop at on the coast to coast walk . Rooms had comfy beds and a nice hot shower . Food was nice and hearty . They also provide boot dryers for £5 which really made the next day better .Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was very good which was nice for the long day ahead.

Had a meal here , chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it,think it must have been reheated a few times, tried to eat it ,had two bits and that was enough for me,think it was reheated a few times, ended up with a dodgy stomach two days later, don't know about the rest of the food here but would not recommend the chicken

The perfect place to stay in Shap. Comfy bedrooms, great food and warm hospitality. The breakfast was plentiful.
