The overall vibe (and problem) is that people (who perhaps work here or are responsible for the guesthouse) don’t care much about anything. Missing keys of the rooms, missing keys of the bathroom, are just the technical issues. There was only one somewhat friendly person from the staff, the rest doesn’t give you any welcoming feeling. The food is quite good however not much to choose from and the portions are also not big. We found it rude that the staff incorrectly informed us about the somewhat mandatory river crossing on horses. They told us it was included in the price of the hostel stay. The horse owners demanded from us later in rather rude way extra 25 lari per person after we crossed 5 meters of the river on their horses. With all respect, we were grateful that this service existed because the river is maybe too deep and cold to cross barefoot. However it feels a bit as a tourist scam.

Not the best experience. Breakfast was ok but not enough to take anything for our hike. One of the bathrooms couldn't be locked, and our room key was missing too. They were unfriendly and the bathroom was dirty. The host promised a free river crossing by horse if we mentioned staying there, but we still had to pay 25 GEL per person. (The crossing is 10 meters, so 10 seconds by horse. Overall, the hospitality felt lacking and not as warm as we've come to expect in Georgia. Wouldn’t recommend this place!

It's a pretty good place to stay. Mariami was nice to us and offered as un upgrade in our room as the first room was about small for us. The food was very nice.
