The hotel is located in busy street but it becomes very quiet at night after all tourists left the village. The room we rent is on highest floor and at the corner. You needed to climb the stairs with the luggage. We knew beforehand so it was fine for us but if you need elevator, make sure you know about this before book it. The room is clean, spacious and got what we need. We stayed there only a night to hike around the area so it was perfect. The hotel offered free parking so it was convenient for us to start our hike from the hotel. The staffs didn’t speak much English but we there is document in English so there is a paper explain English so you are able to ask for additional breakfast.

The rooms are basically new and really clean, the bathroom on the other hand is pretty old, the water takes time to become warm but it's not too hot or too cold as other said, you can tweak to manage the sweet spot, nothing unmanageable. The management is pretty welcoming and sweet.

One has to wonder where all the 5-star reviews are coming from. The location is undeniably beautiful and historic, but the hotel itself was a real letdown. We were a group of seven and found ourselves spending as little time as possible in our rooms, opting instead to be out or at nearby restaurants. Such a shame, given the setting. There was a persistent odd smell throughout the building, and the bathrooms—perhaps last updated in the 1980s—smelled strongly of urine. On the third floor, there was barely any hot water pressure, making showers brief and uncomfortable. On the positive side, the beds appeared newer and were clean, and breakfast was decent. Still, the experience was a strange and disappointing contrast between the grandeur of the building and the poor quality of the accommodation.
