Riversdale House

A cozy hotel with a beautiful view where we stayed on our trip to Glendalough. Although there is no catering service - which was stated at the time of purchase, but they also sent an explanatory email - there are all the facilities in the kitchen area for you to consume the products you bring yourself. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The view was amazing we admired it.

Really amazing place to stay! The owners are such sweet and kind people, they make you feel very welcome and at home. The house is in the miner's valley near Glendalough, with only 15 minutes of walking you're at the Glendalough lake. Directly from the house the hiking routes start, both left and right are beautiful trails. With true Irish nature around you, it's just like paradise. The house was very cosy and clean, couldn't be better. We will definitely come back here, as the 4 days we spent here were way too short.

We stayed only one night, but wished we had time to stay longer. Liam and his wife are very nice. The rooms were neat and clean and breakfast was delicious. In the evening, we enjoyed the host's company. You can cross the creek and walk to the National Park, which is beautiful. Note that the B&B is located at the bottom of a steep road, but we had no problems, even at night. There is a courtesy taxi that will take you to a wonderful local restaurant if you do not wish to drive. Would definitely stay there again.
