The best hotel and restaurant up at Hochkrimml. We always eat here once per holiday. Vegetarian option on the menu, they might make you something vegan if you ask. Children playroom downstairs. Prices are reasonable, service very friendly. In winter reservation is required, but in summer usually not. Across the road there is a small natural lake for swimming. Cold water, but refresh. Small lake is full with (baby)frogs. The hotel has a good spa as well.

Menu options for vegetarians have gone down over the years. It used to have a good choice. But atmosphere and options for children to play remain.
