Auchengillan Outdoor Centre

Despite the weather, we had a great time a brief bit of sun made the kayaking sesion even better.

As a recent visitor to Auchengillan Outdoor Centre, I can confidently say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in the serene Scottish countryside, the center is a haven for anyone looking to escape into nature and embark on exciting adventures. The variety of activities available is truly impressive. Whether you're interested in high ropes courses, climbing walls, archery, or kayaking, Auchengillan has it all. Each activity is meticulously maintained and supervised by a team of friendly, knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment. Their enthusiasm is infectious, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The accommodation at Auchengillan is comfortable and well-suited for groups of all sizes. I stayed in one of the bunkhouses, which was clean, cozy, and had all the necessary amenities. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind after a day full of activities. One of the standout aspects of Auchengillan is its commitment to environmental education and sustainability. Many of the programs include valuable lessons on nature conservation and outdoor skills, which I found both enlightening and inspiring. Overall, my time at Auchengillan Outdoor Centre was unforgettable. The combination of excellent facilities, a wide range of activities, stunning natural scenery, and outstanding staff makes it a top-notch destination for anyone looking to experience the great outdoors. Really good experience here, I attended with a Prince's Trust group and the centre put the students through their paces. The staff were excellent, very attentive and great with the young people. I felt safe on all activities despite my fear of heights. The nightline exercise was great fun and really got the students communicating well, everybody took a lot out of our few days there and I'd love to go back one day.
