Very friendly family that welcomed us with a coffee. Simple but functional guesthouse for 35€ incl breakfast, lunch package and dinner. Unfortunately the room was quite cold however with the big blankets it was fine in the night. The bathroom was right next to our room and the shower was leaking in the hallway, towards our room, therefore the carpets in our room got wet. Other accommodations seemed to be much more crowed than this one, which made it a nice place to relax and enjoy the quietness and surrounding mountains.

We were welcomed to fresh apples the father was harvesting in October. The food was spectacular and our of this world and the owners were so kind. It's a working farm and unlike some of the more commercial institutions (e.g. Relax), you can really feel the warmth and kindness of this family while staying for your POTB trek. Our favorite stay on our trek!

We just returned to the Netherlands after a wonderful hiking holiday in Albania, where we walked the Peaks of the Balkans trail. It was an unforgettable experience — the breathtaking nature, the peace and quiet of the mountains, and above all the warm hospitality in the guesthouses made it truly special. One absolute highlight of our trip was Guesthouse Afrimi in Cerem. The hospitality there was simply outstanding. The rooms and beds were spotlessly clean, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the whole family went out of their way to make us feel welcome — always with a smile. It felt like being part of their home rather than just a guesthouse. If you’re planning to hike in this region, we cannot recommend Guesthouse Afrimi enough. It’s the perfect place to rest, recharge, and experience genuine Albanian warmth and kindness. We will definitely return — that’s a promise!
