Hotel Casona del Alba

We stopped by this family run restaurant/hotel while vacationing in Northern Spain. The food is very fresh and served with lots of good conversation and warmth. They have daily specials that are prepared daily and unique to the region. I did not stay the hotel which is run by the same family but the hotel is very cute and located between beaches and other other tourist areas. It is just far enough away to deliver the quintessential Spanish country side experience. It is not a fancy place but it is clean, decorated impeccably, and delivers all the warmth of the region. I would highly recommend.

relación calidad precio pesima,una noche en verano 85 € la habitación. Éramos cuatro y nos costó 170 € . Ácaros a más no poder , mi hija que es alérgica no pudo dormir casi nada. NO LO RECOMIENDO A NADIE. Además la cama tenía muelles. Le pondría 0 estrellas , pero desgraciadamente no se puede

The location near Comillas makes it easy to visit. However, the beds and pillows are incredibly uncomfortable, the room is small and full of mosquitoes. It's right next to the road, so there was a lot (a lot) of noise all night. The bathroom was somewhat neglected, and the toilet was constantly running. Cleaning was poor, and the staff was scarce; we didn't even get to meet them. I'm sorry to say I don't recommend it, especially since it's expensive for what they offer. We can't believe it only has two stars.
