Dunas de Oyambre

This is a 2-star hotel but the rooms are lovely - large, clean with a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside. Comfortable bed. The bathroom is also large and clean. There is a fridge (not a minibar) which I always find useful. The breakfast was lovely, eaten on the terrace in the sunshine. It is close enough to Comillas that you can visit without having to stay in the hubbub. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. All in all, amazing value for money and we will be back when we next come to north Spain. Be aware: because this is only a 2 star hotel there is no air conditioning. We were fine - the room was cool enough to sleep in comfortably but had the temperatures been in the 30s it wouldn't have been so pleasant.

The hotel is quiet. There is no restaurant. Just frozen pizza you can buy for dinner. Breakfast was at 8.30

Two star hotel with breakfast included and pet friendly if you’re a responsible owner. Spotlessly clean, airy and spacious room with beautiful views across to the picos. Plenty of off road parking and a nice terrace. Fridge and tv in room worked perfectly. Quiet location so you do need to make a short drive into town for shopping and other meals/ supermarkets. Plus a sensible 12pm checkout.🇪🇸👍👍
