Swiss Hotel Apartments

The 5-star review of this place says it all. We (2 adults 1 child) stayed in a 3 bedroom 4 bathroom place which sleeps 8 (I know...a little large for what we needed but the only apartment available at the time) to enjoy the Montreux Christmas Market (Marché de Noël) for a few days. The market is right across the street from the apartment with the train station only a 5-6 minute walk so super convenient. We have no negatives about this place only that we were amazed by it. The large rooms each have an ensuite. There is a large living room/dining room area has two large couches with one being a sofa bed and there is a large dining room table for 8. The kitchen has everything you need (including a wine chiller) with a small bar area with two bar stools. There is also a washer and dryer in case you need to do laundry during your stay. The only small things we have and keep in mind these are only suggestions that can only enhance the stay is 1) hooks in the bathroom to hang clothing and the bathrobes (yes, each room has two bathrobes and slippers) and 2) USB ports in the sockets for charging devices especially in the bedrooms. Other than that we HIGHLY recommend staying here!

My family and I booked this place for our one night stay in Montreux and the hospitality we were welcomed with is amazing! The location is spectacular being in the city and the apartment itself is very spacious for our family of 6–not to mention that it is filled with everything you may need and super clean! Claudia, our host, was so welcoming with her warm hospitality and making our experience in Montreux run much more smoothly. 100% would book this place again when we come to Montreux as it is a reasonable price😊

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with this hotel. We booked the apartment for one night as a birthday surprise. When we booked we asked if they could decorate the room for us just as a surprise. Our intention was not to do party, but to spend a comfortable short stay in Montreux. We were very happy and were already on our way to Montreux when we received an email from the management that the hotel had canceled our booking with the comment that we were going to do party and that this is not permitted due to the neighborhood. Despite the phone call I made explaining the matter to them, they did nothing further. The apology is unacceptable and fair.
