Bay View Inn

Have come to Bude for a 7 night break. Went here on our first night, tired and stressed after a long journey. Made to feel so wecome by both staff and locals alike. We were worried about bringing our 4 dogs in, not a problem, allowed in the bar and a special dog friendly area in the resturaunt. The food is fabulous Siggi had venison haunch and I a ribeye steak. Since then she has had venison again and the buttermilk chicken schnitzel, just as good. I have now had the very best fish pie ever...twice! Beer is excellent too. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's not our typical type of pub, very modern but still interesting. However, they have good old fashioned values of providing a warm welcome, great service and excellent fare. Well done!

I've just got back from a weekend break at the Bay View Inn, the first time since 2021. I had been a regular visitor for the previous decade but only just made it back. And I couldn't be happier to see the place busy, lively with a well priced menu and very friendly staff. Had a great room with a sea view balcony too. I was sorry that under the previous owners things had not gone so well so am delighted to see how the new owners have turned things around.

Absolutely delicious vegan food! Came here for NYE and sat on the pub side. Dog friendly, delicious seasonal food, and really friendly service. Great view of Widemouth Bay and loads of good vegan options. Will definitely come back again
