Mar y Mar Nekazalturismo Apartamentuak

We booked at Mar y Mar in May for 5 nights and paid €600 in advance. First of all photos on the web page are not corresponding to the reality. Furniture is poor and old. The walls are not soundproofed and we could hear our neighbors conversation and tv till midnight. We knocked on the wall but nothing changed. We informed the managers but did not do anything. What happened to us was incredible: one night we woke up suddenly by the police and the managers of Mar y Mar who broke into our room inquiring for our IDs. Police forced us to leave the room wearing our pajamas and they accused us of disturbing the guests in the house. We absolutely had no way to talk or explain that the situation was absolutely the opposite, that is the neighbors were responsible of the noise. Police was called by the managers of Mar y Mar who evidently wanted to get rid of us. We have been treated as criminals, in a country belonging to Europe but not respecting democracy .

We stayed here on our last night of our holiday in northern Spain. We booked the duplex apartment which was advertised as having a sea view and a mountain view. Unfortunately it had neither. Only a great deal of tress and shrubs that almost touched the windows obscuring any view. We unfortunately left a USB key in the TV. The owners promised to return it . but after several months and phone calls they have not. So I have now decided it is time to give any future visitors the information that as for the duplex, the description is not correct and the owners are very honest about what they say.

Nice place to stay. Clean and tidy. Surroundings are really beautiful. Sea facing windows. Equipped with kitchen, utensils, heating and other necessary facilities. Outdoor sitting. Better with car as nearest bus stop is 1km away with interval frequency and nearest shop is 2km. Great spot for family tour, couple and meditation. Calm, clean, beautiful and full of Nature.
