Masseria Morrone

Beautiful and tranquil place to stay, tucked away 5 minutes up a dirt road with an incredible view over the olive trees to the sea. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace with lots of local cheeses, meats, fruits. Pool is delightful and the whole place feels historic and very well taken care of.

Great beautiful location and family run hotel. The new pool is perfect and the view is great. The breakfast has no protein but good other selection of traditional Italian eats. I’d return but probably the hardest bed I’ve ever tried to sleep on. So much so we avoided naps and using it much outside of exhaustion.

We stayed in Masseria Morrone for 3 nights during our stay at Ostuni in October. Staying at this beautiful masseria was a great choice. The best thing about the accommodation was the really beautiful view of the coastal plain. The host people were also helpful and friendly, even if they didn't speak English very well. Masseria Morrone is located in the middle of peaceful countryside and beautiful olive groves. The room was nice and spacious, although the bed was too soft for my liking. The breakfast was varied and tasty and it was possible to eat it on the outdoor terrace with amazing views. I would recommend Masseria Morrone as accommodation for a short or longer visit to Ostuni area, if you are looking for accommodation in a real masseria with a great view and peaceful location. However, access to Masseria requires a car and the ability to drive along a narrow road, and therefore the accommodation is as it best as a base for day trips.
