Terrible experience. - there is no wifi. Not terrible per se, but the system is so dysfunctional… you can’t use if you can’t get sms, which is basically anyone not with a EU mobile phone… - the kitchen is huge… but there are no ustensiles, no glasses, no plates. Literally empty. - shower: takes ages to get hot water. Showers have no doors nor curtains. Feels like in the army… same for women. - rooms are huge… it’s hot and smell like Doritos (I don’t think I will be able to eat Doritos after my night here…). - the lady at the counter… poor her. She looks so desperate, probable didn’t smile in years.

Recently renovated public albergue. The whole place was quite clean and spacious. The room was not really as crowded as in other public albergues. The power outlets next to the beds were not working, but they have some sockets on the walls — charging your devices was a bit of a pain, but it was doable. The WiFi was working well throughout the property. The kitchen does not have any pots or pans, just an oven, microwave, and a fridge, but nothing to cook with.

Nice albergue recently renovated. There are plenty of beds. Interestingly, they have two kitchens fully equipped with machines, but no basic kitchenware. I wasn’t quite sure about the idea of investing in appliances without providing essentials like pots, pans, cups, or plates—most pilgrims don’t carry those with them. Also, the showers had no doors or curtains, just thin walls between them, which didn’t offer much privacy. It’s a bit surprising, as other municipal albergues usually provide at least some privacy in the bathrooms.
