An oasis of comfort and kindness at the foot of the Marmolada massif If you're looking for more than just accommodations, but a complete experience featuring a warm welcome and attention to detail, Residence Edelweiss is the perfect choice. Our experience was simply superb, starting with the owner's welcome, a person of rare and genuine kindness, who put us at ease from the first moment with a warmth and helpfulness that immediately made us feel at home. One gesture that won us over? The delicious homemade tart, delicious, awaiting us upon our arrival: a touch of warmth that goes far beyond standard service. The price, which is high even out of ski season, is absolutely justified by what it offers. First and foremost, its strategic location: a two-minute walk to the Marmolada cable car, making it ideal for both ski enthusiasts and those, like us, who enjoy summer hikes. Just a few minutes' drive away, you can visit enchanting places like Sottoguda, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, the picturesque Serrai, and the majestic Fedaia Lake with its breathtaking views. Our room was a true gem: spacious, bright, and featuring not one, but two terraces with outdoor sofas, from which we enjoyed unforgettable sunrises and sunsets. The huge and well-appointed bathroom, the charming electric fireplace, and the extremely comfortable beds contributed to an extremely relaxing stay. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need, and when I say everything, I mean everything: from the moka pot to the coffee machine, from the pots and pans to the jams and biscuits for breakfast. Nothing was missing. Impeccable service, working Wi-Fi, and the pet-friendly policy are the added value that completes an already excellent offer. The area is livelier in the winter, but in the summer it offers pristine peace and beauty, with restaurants still open for every need. We can only thank you for the wonderful days we spent and highly recommend Residence Edelweiss to anyone looking for a special base in these beautiful valleys. We will definitely be back.

The apartment's value lies in its strategic location beneath the Marmolada cable cars. The apartment is in a dated building with strong musty and stuffy odors. Otherwise, it's spotlessly clean, and the furnishings are spartan and functional. Please note: there's a double bed and an adjoining bed with very comfortable mattresses, and a very uncomfortable sofa and chair bed.

Apartment number 2b is dirty. On arrival there was mold in the room, which was resolved in 2 days. Then logically the next day it "smells" of disinfection. The heating only works from 7 am to 10 pm. Drying wet things at night after skiing is impossible. It was also cold at night, we had to heat with an electric oven in the kitchen. I highly do not recommend it.
