FLETCHER HOUSE Guest House Bed and Breakfast accommodation

Wonderful Bed&Breakfast, one of the best I’ve ever been. Rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated with many details to make your stay more comfortable. Gill and Steve are extremely kind and will make you feel at home. Breakfast is also perfect, fresh fruit, great choice of teas and cereals, delicious scrambled eggs!!! I hope to return next year to make the second half of the Coast to Coast way.

Jill, the owner, was extremely kind and very pleasant, baking fairy cakes to welcome guests. Lots of biscuits were provided as well as the usual beverages. Breakfast was sumptuous. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The Pamper Bathroom was a delight. A good smart TV was provided in the bedroom as well as in the lounge. Heating with radiators gave extra comfort. The price for a room was lower than many. We both felt Fletcher House was fantastic.

Gillian and Stephen are the perfect hosts. When arriving from a 32 km hike through pouring rain and boggy fields we received the nicest welcome. They helped us getting our shoes and gear cleaned and provided newspaper to dry our shoes. Our room was spacious and with lovely furniture and all you can expect. The en-suite bathroom featured a shower but there was a bath tub available in an external bathroom. The breakfast was very nice and the coffee from the machine quite good (for English standards).
