Hotel VARDE GARTEN

My husband and I spent five nights in Suite 2 at the Varde Garten. The suite is tastefully and practically furnished, comfortable for two people. The location is in the heart of the city, still it was very quiet and peaceful. As the Restaurant von Lügenhals is right next door, it can be quite intrusive on a nice day when there are a lot of people sitting outside. The ambience of the restaurant is very cosy, the staff speak English which is useful as everything is in Danish. We did not order breakfast because of my husband's illness, his diet is a bit special. I ordered lunch from the restaurant once and it was brought up to the room. There was a surprise because I didn't hear a knock on the door, suddenly the waiter appeared inside the door. We had a similar incident on Monday, but this time with the cleaning lady who suddenly appeared in the apartment and we were still on the bed. I rushed over and told her that we were staying for two more days, she thought we had already left. Apart from these two minor incidents, we had a great time in Varde and at the Varde Garten, so I can warmly recommend the place.

My wife and I were getting married in Varde, this is the perfect spot. The staff was extremely friendly at the restaurant and food is a 10/10 there. The room was way larger than we anticipated and very comfortable. We also ordered the breakfast which was in the fridge before we even arrived in the room in the evening. It is about a 5 minute walk from the town hall.

Wonderful place with very friendly staff and extraordinary kind chef. The stay was amazing with the superb room, and with the food that was so delicious, that could easily deserve all Michelin stars!
