We really enjoyed everything about our stay in this hotel. The arrival was easy, despite the small streets, and we were greeted warmly and shown where to go to park the car. From the check-in to check-out we found the staff to be accommodating, helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room we had a was also lovely, having been converted from the old convent it was evident that the building was old but well maintained. The addition of the fan and airconditioning was nice and allowed us to adjust the temperature in the room to our liking. The bathroom was well laid out, despite the small shower we had no issues at any stage during our stay. Being able to walk through and explore a bit of the convent was also nice, particularly the old well that is still in the courtyard. The opportunity to view the chapel connected to the convent was also taken, and allowed us a view into a small but impressive church that was built in the 14th century. We were disappointed the restaurant on site was not open, but the recommendations for local eateries was welcomed. We found Susa to be walkable and with the christmas decorations and lights it was lovely to be out during the evening. Breakfast was a simple but well stocked affair, with good coffee and plenty of variety for everyone, particularly the array of gluten-free products available. We had no real complaints from our stay, it was a very pleasant stay.

Excellent hotel in Susa. We had a family and a single room to accommodate our party. The rooms were tastefully decorated and had everything needed. The staff was also very friendly, polite and helpful. The parking area free of charge available to guests is a huge plus. Plenty of bars and restaurants around (I recommend to book in advance!)

This is an amazing historic hotel. The courtyard itself is worth stay there alone and the views from the are fantastic. My ONLY criticism is that the hotel has a very liberal pet policy. There was a guest who had a barking dog at breakfast which is fine outside in the courtyard but they proceeded to carry it with them in their arms while they collected their food and coffee. That’s nasty. No staff member said anything. Ruined my breakfast. Love dogs outside but if you have to bring them inside, they should sit under your table quietly.
