Pension Hrnjic

There is actually not so much to complain about, just it is OVERPRICED. The guesthouse is clean, cheap but functionally furbished (for one night), breakfast ok-ish (bread rolls + slice of cheese, ham, eggs, spread; no vegetables, yoghurt, cereals etc.), ok location close to the lake bathing area, Billa and town center. We stayed in a double room (even though it was called triple - the sofa was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on) as a family of 2 adults, 1 kid and 1 baby, and paid 100 EUR per night which I consider ridiculous compared to other places in Austria and considering the service provided. We had no bathroom of our own, had to share it with another room. I still don't understand why as the place was almost empty. When I expressed my opinions to the landlady, she was really strict and unpleasant. All in all, not a bad place but we wouldn't stay again, definitely not for the price.

Our stay at Pension Hrnjic was unfortunately disappointing. The room was very small and clearly showing its age. Furthermore, there was no mosquito net on the window, which can be particularly unpleasant during the warmer months. The breakfast was also underwhelming – it consisted mainly of simple, pre-baked pastries that were neither fresh nor appealing. Overall, the breakfast offerings seemed uninspired and uninviting. What struck us as particularly negative was the poor value for money. Given the standard offered, the price is in no way justified – to put it kindly, guests feel somewhat ripped off. To be honest, we were glad when our stay was over and would not recommend this accommodation.

The rooms were outdated and spartan, with just one towel per person. In May, with nighttime temperatures dropping into the single digits, there was no heating. At €135 per room, it was a rip-off. The only positive aspect was the location (quiet and near the lake).
