Bar de La Rance

We called in for a coffee whilst passing by a couple of days before after taking a wrong turn on the way to Dinard the meal of the day looked really good, and lots of the locals were having midday lunch It was obvious it was the place to go! So we decided to call today arrived around 11.50 and by 12.15 the restaurant was full. Buffet starter and a choice from three hot main courses. Breton Cidre or wine included. We would have loved to go for the five course if only I had the space for it.......maybe next time and I'll skip breakfast beforehand ☺️ Our lunch was authentic delicious and great value. The two Ladies serving were lovely with their basic English and our poor French and some Google translate we managed to get by.😀 It's obvious this place has a following with the locals, It's just off the beaten track but well worth a little detour a little gem of a find. We wil certainly be back next time we are on holiday around St Malo.👍

Fantastic Ouvriers (workers) lunch deals every day. 12.5 € for buffet starters, choice of main dish and dessert options. Lovely atmosphere and owner.
