The Coldstreamer Inn, Gulval

Just in response to the previous review as I visited the pub on Wednesday to complete the fire safety equipment install. A great new landlord has just taken over last week Tim (nice bloke) He has been busy putting a his stamp on this idyllic and very old period pub and guest inn. Tim has a wasted no time in enhancing the letting rooms and the pub. With new kitchen appliances going In very soon I'm sure The coldstreamer will soon be serving food again and welcoming tourists and locals alike. The pub is only a couple of minutes from Penzance town centre and the coast... And 25 minutes from Lands End by car ... Great location 👍👍

Absolutely gorgeous pub and hotel, staff were excellent food lovely, and room lovely too, very comfy bed and gorgeous hot shower, thanks Tim love from Julie Andy and Brigette the dog x

Was advertised online as offering food but none available the night we stayed. Bar was deserted in the evening (tho it was a Monday), room was clean and comfy enough, bathroom not in great state. Couldn’t find anyone when we went down to breakfast so we just left. Could be a great place but currently somewhat overpriced for what it does (and doesn’t) do. Dead handy for the Heliport so it got a star for that. Apparently it’s been thru a few pairs of hands recently - and it feels like it. Hope the owners can make it work x
