La Locanda Francigena

Really clean rooms, good Parking and friendly staff. The only problem is, that it is quite loud because there is a very busy crossing near the house.

The B&B is located in a renovated villa. I stayed for two nights over the June 31/1 long weekend. The room I stayed in was clean and the bathroom was large enough, but then the downsides began.... As for the amenities, there was a non-functioning Wi-Fi, and a "ghost" breakfast served at odd hours. A sign in the villa advised guests that breakfast was available at the adjacent bar starting at 8:30, but they later discovered there was no one there at that time XD. Then, when contacting the owner, they were informed that breakfast was available from 10:00—truly absurd. At checkout, the owner was less than forthcoming in addressing the reported issues, without offering any constructive solutions.

The rooms are well-appointed and clean, the garden is large and well-kept, but unfortunately the location is a letdown. The room facing the street and bar is noisy, while the room facing the opposite side is quiet. Breakfast and dinner were good.
