Casa Rurale sulla Via Francigena

This holiday cottage, which sleeps 4-5 people, is very affordable, even in the summer months, which is rare at this time of year. It costs around €300 in August. Located near Viterbo (8km), 56km from Rome, and 70km from Siena (a car is essential). The owner is charming and discreet. The cottage includes a bedroom, a bathroom, and a living/dining room with air conditioning. Pets are welcome. I recommend this place if you're on a tight budget or don't want to spend all your holiday money on accommodation.
