A lovely modern hotel with lots of amenities. Reception staff were lovely very welcoming & explained all the facilities available. Nice size room, very clean & comfortable, nice size bath with extremely hot water. My only moan would be breakfast, although there is a large selection there didn't seem to be any allowance made for clients with dietary issues. The scrambled egg contained milk & when I was being told this I wasn't offered the option to have some made without (unlike last weeks hotel). No G/F cereal or bread offered, no milk alternative or caffeine free coffee. In these times of client fullfearment it's not so good. The staff member at the restaurant reception was very rude. Great location in the old town 10-15 minutes transfer from airport. Good value for money.

We stayed for one night at Metropol Spa Hotel on January 17. The room was good and not worn out, although the carpet was quite heavily used. Overall, the room was fine. The pillows could have been softer, but that’s probably a matter of personal preference. We stayed on the 4th floor, I believe in apartment room 401. The view speaks for itself—you can see it in the photos. In general, the room was good. We spent time in the spa area and also had a classic massage, which was done very well. The service was good. The spa itself was enjoyable—not a very large selection, but everything you need is there: a Finnish sauna, salt sauna, steam sauna, a small pool, a jacuzzi, and a bar. Overall, we were satisfied. Breakfast was also decent. It is served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. I recommend coming before 9:00 AM, because after that it becomes very difficult to find a place to sit. We noticed that many guests had the same issue. Overall, we were satisfied and can recommend this hotel. One more thing worth mentioning: the hotel’s location is excellent. It is situated in the Rotermann Quarter, with many restaurants nearby, a cinema close by, the city center, the port, and large shops all within walking distance. In short, everything is very convenient.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in travelling. Spend the extra money and stay on the Spa Hotel side. Rooms were big enough for Euro standards. The location near old town was perfect with the hip modern business district right outside which used to be factories. Saunas are gender mixed so bring your swimsuit. Locker rooms are clean. There are four hot tubs, three saunas a warm pool and a cold shower. Places to sit around. Outside drinks aren't allowed but they have a 'bar' that has a jug of water
