We stayed in a private double room on our Via Francigena pilgrimage. The room was clean, we received clean bedding to make our beds. The room was warm (in October). We had a sink in our room and had a shared bathroom which was clean. The water was hot and the shower had good pressure. Wi-Fi was strong. There is a shared kitchen with microwave but we didn't use it. It seems like there are people who stay at the ostello in a regular basis which maybe an issue in the dorm rooms but everyone seemed friendly. The nuns who run the ostello are helpfu and cheerful. We paid €50 for our room plus 2€ for 2 bath towels. I would certainly stay here again.

It's near the center 10 mins by walk. Rooms are shared. And there is no kitchen to cook. Only a sink, dishes and a microwave to prepare some snack or breakfast.

In my opinion a shame, that this place calls itself a place for pilgrims on the Via Francigena and charges for a crowded very basic dormroom 20 Euro per person. A shame that Pavia is the first city on the Via Francigena that has no place for pilgrims. All Parrocchias don't accept pilgrims and this in a very important stop on the way to Rome
