Villa della Meliana

I stayed here for a wedding. It was disgustingly dirty, infested with bugs, poorly maintained, and the staff was ambivalent. My friend held her wedding here. The venue is surrounded by gorgeous rolling hills and has wonderful views. However, the facilities are so poorly maintained that I would only recommend this place to my worst enemies. When we arrived, our room was filled with bugs. They were on the walls, on the floors, and in the hallways. The showers are so small that only a small child can fit in them, but they are also covered in mold. I was so disgusted that I personally scrubbed the showers before we used them. Then, when I turned on the shower, the shower head flew across the room because it was broken but they just stuck it on there. So we had to shower using the hose only. Although the venue claims that all of the rooms have air conditioning and heating, some of them do not. The venue does not provide clean water and they only provide two small, thin rolls of toilet paper. The venue also says that it has WiFi, but it really never worked and did not reach all of the rooms. The rest of the venue is so unkept that it makes hosting an event very difficult. There is only ONE public toilet available for everyone. It is at the top of a hill next to the pool, and it wasn’t cleaned the entire week. It smelt disgusting. The staff is also only on site at random times. We could hardly find them when we had any questions, like where we could find toilet paper or water. Overall, this place has the bones to be a nice venue, but its owners have let it fall apart. It’s disgusting and if you care about your wedding guests, I would avoid it.

It's a pathetic arrangement. Basins are clogged, bathroom was clogged. Amenities are substandard. Furniture antique and useless. Rooms are unhygienic and stinks and oh yes dusty too. Please think before you book this. It's completely waste of your hard-earned money.

Very beautiful place, the apartment was very large, and the bathroom was clean. However, it was dusty and there were a lot of blossom fluff. Make clear arrangements regarding cleaning and changing towels/sheets. Super nice people who do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
