Les Olivettes

I did not stay in the hotel, but I joined for a half day horse ride which was an amazing experience. You have to be very confident in yourself and your horsemanship abilities as you are free to take care of yourself and get little instruction. I arrived in the morning and was introduced to my horse Vika, a sweet mare. Each of the guests were responsible for preparing their own horse. Once ready we started our ride down hill and into the forest. We went up and down many slopes and also had some moments to trot and gallop. The owner mostly stayed in the lead guiding the way. She seems to be very familiar with the area and I'm sure no two rides are alike. I did have a small slip with my horse, and was happy to not be scolded. All of the horses got along well and you did not have to worry about them getting to close to each other. Overall I was very happy with my experience. It was 4 hours non stop and well worth the money. Thank you Christine, I hope I will come riding with you again!

This hotel is so special. It's in a beautiful location (next to the forest already, but still close to the city center of the town), it's cozy, and the owner puts her heart to take care of it. It's a 2* accommodation, and it is quite simple inside, but still charming. You can sit in the common areas during the evenings, and you can relax, talk, and enjoy the fire place. The best part to some is definitely being surrounded by dogs, cats and the horses outside. But yes, the dogs were the highlight of our stay. Waking-up with one of them by our door was such a nice feeling! Do not come to this place if you can't appreciate the beauty in the nature, and if you expect luxury. Here is for a digital detox time (even though there's wifi in every room), and to enjoy the time out, or quietly. We will come back, for sure!
