Pensión Mariaje

This pension is situated in a good location and what stood out to me the most was the friendliness of the staff, such lovely people! The rooms are a bit outdated and I would have liked an extra pillow and a thicker blanket, we were provided with only a thin fleece blanket and it was a bit too cold and uncomfortable for me. But the rooms were clean and the best surprise came in the morning; the breakfast! It was very extensive, there were savoury things, homebaked and very delicious cakes, homemade bread, colacao, fruits, etc etc. Overall a pleasant experience

Nice and cheap. Simple room, and simple breakfast, but just the right sort of place to use as a jumping off point. Maybe an earlier breakfast time wouldn't have gone amiss (9-10.30 at the minute) but this is Spain after all!

The hospitality at Pensión Mariaje is extraordinary. Nicely situated at some distance from the beaches and the more touristy establishments located there. A genuine place!!
