Field House

Wow! From our arrival as weary walkers to our departure as inspired adventurers, Viv and The Field House provided us with a most perfect stay. Our room was delightful, with a huge comfy bed, great showers, lovely treats, and a sofa to watch TV. The stay got even better at breakfast when we were served a beautiful series of courses including yoghurt, cereal, fruit and a full cooked breakfast with local sausages and bacon. Over the past couple of weeks, we have stayed in 10 different hotels, some high-end, pubs, and B&B's, and this one gets number one. Thank you so much, Viv, for such a great fun experience.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The best of my trip. It's very stylish, with lots of little thoughtful touches. Practical as well, eg silent fridge, fresh milk. With the windows open I could hear the waves crashing, very relaxing. Delicious breakfast. On the bus network.

The field house is just perfect for exploring the amazing walking, sea swimming and sunsets of the west penwith coastline. I was treated to a surprise stay by my partner and we felt so at home in the beautiful suite with sea view balcony. There is also a stylish and peaceful living room with wood burner downstairs, a perfect place for reading and being snug in the evenings. Viv couldn’t have done more to create a special stay for us and we felt so welcome and nourished by the personal touches like a selection of herbal teas and treats in the room and the most delicious home made vegan breakfast overlooking the fields. Dogs are just as well taken care of as humans here! We found it amazing value overall and would recommend a stay at the field house to anyone who appreciates a homely stay with lots of privacy and special touches. Thank you Viv! We will be back x
