Channel View Guest House

Brilliant Bed and Breakfast overlooking the English Channel. The very lovely Lucy runs this place, breakfasts served fresh hot and tasty, room facilities include en suite, tea tray, hairdryer, but if you need anything just ask. Been coming here for good few years now and never tire of it.. absolutely love this place. Free parking on site. Stoke Fleming is close to Blackpool Sands which is (sadly) a dog free sandy beach. Plenty of coastal walks, Lucy also has an enclosed field for private hire if you want your dog to have a run around in what is, a safe field, the views are amazing!! There is a great pub round the corner serving food till around 8, corner shop, church and friendly neighbours!! Dartmouth around 6 miles away which is beautiful. Local Sainsbury's and Lidl within 10 min drive. Very happily highly recommended..

Our second stay and loved every minute. Lucy the hostess is lovely and welcomes her guests whether human or dog. The breakfasts are fantastic, as you sit looking at the beautiful view. The location is beautiful with stunning walks on your doorstep. Dartmouth and Brixham are a short drive away. There a restaurants/pubs within easy reach fire the evening. We loved our time here and our dog would say she had an absolutely pawsome tone!

Wonderful stay and plenty of welcome by Lucy the entire weekend. Stayed for 2 nights in room number 4 which had a fantastic sea view and great windows (sorry, had to get that one in). The spotless room was spacious had an en-suite with fresh towels and toiletries. The room also had a mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities with a special touch of chocolate biscuits too. Great breakfast each morning served between 8-9am by Lucy. The guest house is located in a fantastic location within walking distance of two lovely pubs. Blackpool sands beach is well worth a visit (no dogs at certain times of the year) but other beaches are short drive away allow dogs I believe. We hope to return soon.
