A well appointed and quiet location for a small hotel & restaurant run by Heinz (chef) and his wife Barbara, who speaks English fluently if you need help asking for anything and your German is not up to scratch. They have been providing a thoroughly incredible experience for at least 30 years. My wife has been here at least 10 times during this period and would keep coming back for ever! Local skiing and hiking in almost every direction. Rooms are large and comfortable for with 2, 3 and 4 bed options. WiFi is adequate for the location. The restaurant is the real star here. Most evenings it is full and a booking is a requirement. Many locals have been coming here for many years. The food is very good, with large portions, local ingredients and very reasonable prices. I recommend the set menu which represents the best value and is fantastic, changing every day. Wine list is extensive and caters for most budgets. If you are staying, as we were for 6 nights, then the breakfast is an absolute must and maybe the best I have ever had at any price, anywhere! Bold statement, but true nevertheless. All locally sourced with ample breads, cheese, meats, cereals and Heinz is always around to do you an omelet or scrambled eggs at your request. Highly recommended.

Lovely village inn with comfy bedrooms. Heinz is a great cook. He makes the best breakfast I've ever had. Such a shame they have 'Ruhetag"!

Yummm!!! Such a 'home-made' taste to the food. Would defiantly recommend. Try the specialty dishes and the cheese and tomato soup
