Arriving at "Sgubin" is like returning to friends. The hospitality and good food are a familiar sight. After settling into their rooms just a few meters from the farmhouse and winery, dinner was served. A palate-pleasing and sensory experience I recommend to everyone. Unexpected flavors, like mustard ice cream, are the surprise of a dinner that leaves you surprised and satisfied. A farmhouse near Cividale del Friuli and other places of great cultural interest (Palmanova, Udine, and Gorizia), nestled in the Collio hills, that I highly recommend. The atmosphere of the small but cozy rooms is lovely, and the breakfast is delicious. The restaurant is lovely, and the food is delicious (special mention for the pheasant-filled ravioli), rooted in the local tradition but never banal. The wine is also good, of course. The hospitality is exquisite. What more can I say? It's worth a stop.
