Very good location with nice view and small playing area for the kids. The management of the hotel are very friendly and cooperative specially Mr. Martin. I highly recommended this hotel. I got the 3 bedrooms apartment which is the only apartment in the building with 2 sides balcony , fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. We had a great time where we spent 7 days away from the city. The only 2 comments I have are the hotel has no lift, fortunately we were in the 1st floor and also there is some noise from the street but the windows and the hotel are sound proof. We booked this accommodation on the day of our arrival, as we had to cancel our planned camping trip last minute due to bad weather. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surroundings and the excellent location. The rooms and common areas are modern and tastefully furnished. The garden, located at the edge of the forest, offers a peaceful seating area by a small lake, a large grill, and a playground for children – perfect for relaxing. The overall atmosphere is very friendly, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated the rich breakfast buffet, which was constantly replenished. And if you’re lucky, you might even be treated to cheerful accordion tunes from the owner himself, making your morning even more delightful. We were extremely satisfied and would be happy to return in the future!

We returned to Baranekhof in Kaprun for our second stay, and once again, we absolutely loved it. This charming, family-owned guesthouse has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you feel at home the moment you arrive. Everything is done with care and attention – from the spotlessly clean rooms to the traditional interiors that give the place an authentic, cozy Alpine feel. The staff are absolutely lovely: friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile or great local advice. The location is perfect – peaceful and scenic, yet just a short distance from all the activities and attractions that Kaprun and the surrounding region have to offer. Whether you're into hiking, skiing, sightseeing, or simply relaxing, it's all within easy reach. Breakfast is another highlight – delicious, with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. It's the perfect start to each day. Baranekhof has become one of those rare places we already know we’ll keep coming back to. A real gem!
