Wonderful service as expected. Polite staff & kids friendly. Great pitstop for walkers.

The owner of our B&B suggested we eat here (aka: Murphy's) and said often her guests go back if they're staying in Ballyferriter like we were. It may be a small town, but the quality of the food here is incredibly good. My husband loved his seafood chowder and enjoyed his fish and chips. I absolutely loved my ricotta and spinach ravioli and side salad. Sure enough, when it came time for dinner the next night we couldn't think any other place in town could top it, so we returned to Murphy's. This time my husband had the ravioli and I tried the beef steak burger and once again we left incredibly happy with our meals.

We were looking for food late and Tigh Ui Mhurchu was still willing to make meals. Sean, the proprietor, was a wonderful host. We had great conversations with him and equally great food. I would highly recommend stopping by for an authentic pub in a nice village for a great experience.
