Quiet bed and breakfast in Carlisle. The room was at the top, back, and very quiet. Charlotte and Tony were helpful. Shower was hot and lovely! Breakfast was hot, too, but in a different way. What more do I need in a B&B?!

Great B&B near the center of Carlisle, and near the Hadrians Wall Path. I had a great room and great breakfast. Very nice hosts, i felt really welcome.

Howard Lodge is just what a BnB should be. Clean, comfortable, friendly and with little touches such as make up removal pads on the dressing table. A real home from home. A smashing breakfast too. I really recommend this place.
