Camino House B&B

Outstanding! Mary is the epitome of B&B hosts. We were celebrating a special occasion and were blown away at how above and beyond she went to make our stay the absolute best. The Irish breakfast was wonderful and we thought the tea was phenomenal, too. The house is in a stunning location as well by both the mountains and the water. Just a perfect time at the Camino House and we can't recommend a place to stay more if you are by Tralee - you will receive the best hospitality. Thanks again so much, Mary!

The Lady who runs Camino House is very pleasant and make you feel really relaxed in what is effectively her home The room was huge with good facilities and a dressing room. The location was a bit out of town but that meant it was really peaceful. Great breakfasts with everything you could want. Highly recommend if you around the area.

This B&B was a big disappointment. It started with that the host advertised the room with a private bathroom. On arrival, she told us that booking.com forgot to change this, but it was a shared bathroom. Obvious she was lying. The room was not comparable to the pictures. Our room was boring, white walls, a bulb on a wire as lighting, TV was not connected. The wooden floor was under tention and very squeeky. Also, there were spring locks in the doors which could not be used without awakening all guest. The walls were made out of cardboard and we could hear the neighbours talk, watch television (yes, they had one!) and snore. In the bathroom there were hairs of the other guests and the shower water didn't flush away. Someone tried to kit the shower and there was kit everywhere. Also, we noticed that the house was unsafe. The fire alarm was removed (wooden house!) and some light fittings were empty in the bathroom, which is not a good idea in a moist environment. We explained/confronted the host that we were not content with the offering and that the room was not as advertised, else I would never have booked it. We still have to receive our money back for the second day...
