Woodside Bed & Breakfast

Just got back from a 2 night stay at the Woodside B&B. Absolutely faultless from start to finish, loved the self check in, room was spotless, spacious and well equipped. Super comfy bed, lovely selection of teas, coffees, biscuits etc (little table on the landing with fresh milk in the fridge plus a selection of herbal teas and oat milk too - really nice touch). The breakfast both mornings was outstanding, we had the full English on the first morning and the eggs with soldiers and shakshuka this morning - yum! The hosts, Hannah and BJ are so friendly and welcoming, really enjoyed chatting with them. This place is an absolute gem, can't wait till we can go back.

Lovely room, new ensuite very high standard. The breakfast menu is varied. The owners are great hosts. Car park behind the house. They have a shed to keep your bicycles in.

We stayed here for two nights in June whilst taking part in a charity hike around Ullswater. The accommodation is very well presented and obviously well looked after. Small touches like a mini fridge with fresh milk that you can use for your brew, and a drying room for your wet outside gear was a great idea. We stayed in the triple room which was more spacious than we had anticipated, and the beds were very comfortable. A 15 minute walk will take you into Keswick where there were plenty of bars and eateries, and a few more minutes gets you down to Derwent Water. The breakfast was super tasty with plenty of options to choose from. There was also a very handy car park behind the property which made our commuting much easier. We would definitely stay here again (even though the weather was horrendous for us this time!) x
