We are in Altenberg every year. A visit to the "Linde" is a must. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. We always like to come back here.

The restaurant's decor and ambiance are rather cold. The room temperature reflects this – simply cold. The food tasted good, but I find it baffling that there are neither children's meals nor smaller portions. Unfortunately, the staff offered no accommodations. I can't see any discernible reason for this. As a result, a four-year-old child has to order a full portion, which is obviously impossible for a child that age. Card payments are not accepted. When paying in euros, they use an exchange rate that is about 10% worse than the "normal" rate. This is certainly a way to profit. All in all, definitely not worth a second visit.
