We stayed at Le Telemark in Tignes and I had mixed feelings. At first I was hesitant to book because I usually choose places with higher ratings on Google, but the photos looked great so I went for it. When we arrived, the team upgraded us for free to a larger apartment with great views, which we really appreciated. The apartment itself was great. Spacious, comfortable, and it had everything we needed. That said, compared to other Pierre and Vacances residences I have stayed at in France, this felt more like a solid 4 star level than a true 5 star experience. The pool and spa area are beautiful and were a big reason we chose this place. However, the jacuzzis were not reliable. They did not work 3 out of the 7 nights we were there. The main issue for us was service at the front desk. The apartment was cold for the first two nights, and we went down more than five times. The desk staff were not helpful and did not take the problem seriously. In the end, I spoke to a maintenance employee in the hallway who explained it is a central system, and he fixed it within an hour. It felt like the desk team were new and simply did not know how things worked in the building. Later, we paid for a late checkout at a fair price. I clearly explained that we planned to ski all day and leave in the evening, and I asked if we could use the spa later in the day and store our luggage, which is standard in most hotels and residences. I was told very bluntly that we had to be fully out by 13:00 and that there was no place for luggage. Only after insisting did the manager come, and she handled it professionally and found a solution right away. On checkout day, the cleaning team came into our apartment at around 12:15 and started moving things, even though we were still there. It made us uncomfortable and we left within minutes. When we returned the key, a front desk clerk demanded we move our car in a very unpleasant way. Parking is difficult in the area, so moving it meant paying elsewhere and walking far. Our parking ticket clearly said parking until December 20 with no specific time. The clerk became aggressive and it was honestly embarrassing in front of other guests. Again, the manager resolved it, but the damage was already done. If the service and attitude at the front desk were better, this would easily be a 5 star review. The property has a lot going for it, but the guest experience depends on how issues are handled, and we had to fight too hard for basic help. I hope the service improves for future guests.

We spent well above average what we have previously spent on a ski break looking for a higher quality experience. CGH Le Telemark was booked through Ski World and what we got was nothing that was promised. The photos of the chalets are deceptive on both on Ski World and the official CGH websites. The lounge and spa pictures are accurate, but our room was an embarrassment and nothing like what was advertised. We were dropped off at a bus stop and had to walk up the hill to the location with our luggage and ski gear because the driver said there wasn't space to turn the minivan around. This was a lie. The reception staff across the board rude and unhelpful. Once we arrived the beds were not done properly. There were small stains on the duvet cover and pubic hair underneath it. The sofa was covered in dog hair. The balcony was covered in dog prints and there was a pile of poo next to the snow. We had an issue with heating that was shrugged off and nothing was resolved. The cups in the bathroom had toothpaste stains in them. The chalet was for 6 people, with only 1 toilet. The kitchen facilities were below average. The nespresso coffee machine didn't work properly and we went through a bunch of coffee pods every morning to get one to work. There were cracked floor tiles. Knives were blunt and there were no instructions how to work the oven. TV wasn't worth opening. For ski in and ski out you have to be an advanced skier. Especially skiing in back to the chalet was dangerous and we had to walk down the narrow, icy path with our young daughter to avoid injury. The location is very average and there were no close amenities. The driers in the ski room didn't work. All our gear was damp every morning. We spent extra £4,000 on this ski holiday and truly wish we didn't. We expected the luxury we saw in the photos and got in return a joke of a dirty room with arrogant staff. In future we will not be using Ski World again and will be happy to return to Crystal Ski. The value and service we received for what we paid was abysmal.

We went on a family trip with 7 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 babies. We booked a 4 double bedroom apartment at around 8000EUR. The apartment was far to small. First it only had 2 x two-seater sofas, so we couldn't all sit down at once. The floor size of the kitchen, lounge was little over 5m x 3m. We tried to speak with the staff and they told us all rooms were the same size, which we know was disingenuous as we visited our neighbours apartment, which had twice the living area. Furthermore, we chose our apartment based on a series of nice photos and the apartment was sold dishonestly. It's was so cramped and honestly ruined our trip. To make matters worse, we were the top, end apartment so all the bedrooms were in the attic, so all the beds were under sloped ceilings, this meant the room was barely useable. We have stayed at CGH about 6/7 times and they are normally good enough. This was the worst of any CGH we have been too and the fact we were rudely handled, we wont be back, without major compensation. It's just not worth the money. Lost a customer for life here. Poor show!
