Bohinj River House

We really enjoyed our stay at Bohinj River House. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and everything smells wonderfully fresh. The surroundings are peaceful, with a beautiful 1.5-hour walk from the hotel to the source of the Bohinj Bistrica River. The sauna and jacuzzi are located in a very nicely designed wellness area and are perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared, so everything tasted very fresh. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in nature.

Beautiful, spacious rooms with a large and lovely terrace – the perfect place to relax. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the spa area was excellent, offering a truly enjoyable and rejuvenating experience. We would definitely love to come back!

My wife and I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We found exactly what we were looking for, and it exceeded our expectations. We were greeted very warmly by a friend of the two owners, who showed us around and explained everything. The breakfast is small but delicious and is made by the two owners themselves. Everything you need to start the day feeling refreshed. The small spa offers a whirlpool, a sauna, and a cold plunge pool. Perfect for me after a strenuous run through the small town and region. Don't expect a huge sauna area here, but it's perfectly adequate. It's very clean and the whole hotel smells very pleasant. The room also had everything you could wish for. The view of the mountains and the river flowing right by the hotel are breathtaking. We were and are thrilled and will definitely come back. A big thank you to the two lovely owners!
