What can I say? Cheap place to stay, but you pay what you get for. We rented a camping spot which was a 2x2m plot right next to 20 other people. Some playing reggaeton on their loud speaker and drunk people peeing outside their tent at night. If you are here to surf though, the location is unbeatable. 2 min walk to a great spot. Parking was not free. 5 euros per day at the public parking down below.

We stayed in the motor home service area next to the main camping / caravan site. There is a barriered entrance which needs operating by a person from the site next door. The area itself is dead flat and laid out like a car park. There are 60+ pitches. The 6 nearest the (busy) road have electric hook ups. The only water we could see was a tap next to the black water disposal. We did without. There are 2 toilets for the whole area, no showers. When we arrived we were the only vehicle. During the evening 3 more arrived. However at about 11pm a large motor home arrived with 5 young men aboard. They pitched right next to us and were noisy until about 3am. We had been on the overnight ferry the previous night and had very little sleep and had a similar sleep deprived night thanks to thoughtless youngsters. The site is fine for a one night stopover. There are nearer sites to the ferry terminal but our rig has a twin rear axle so, for us, this was the closest. At €13 very cheap.

We've used this campervan site twice now. Lovely friendly man at entrance point. Electric and clean toilet and sink. Open all year. Good place for a couple of days, especially before or after getting off ferry. Boat across to Santander every half hour. Such a great way to get to the centre. Returned a few more times. Nice to have a friendly welcome and reliable place before and after, ferry crossing.
