City Hall

We stayed 2 nights and we very much enjoyed the experience. The room was small at the top of the hotel but comfortable. It was very clean and well attended to each day. It had an excellent shower and we even managed to watched football from the Euros 24 on TV. Breakfast was typically Swiss and there was a nice option to boil your own egg! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well situated, close to the station and Coop with easy access to walking trails. If you are so minded there is the little English church a few minutes away that holds a service on Sundays at 5.30pm and which has a welcoming congregation. Wi-Fi was excellent and the bed (2 joined) was fine for us. We also found the safe in the wardrobe a useful feature.

No AC, no fans. Opened the window to try to cool the place down and was kept up most of the night by street noise and lights. It's like Europeans have never heard of ceiling fans, odd. Don't know what the rest of the hotels in town are like but I'd go somewhere else next time to try and get a good night's sleep. Staff was nice, breakfast was fine, location is good. 3 stars because I just couldn't sleep well

We just wanted to have a nice meal here, enjoy the whole atmosphere. Unfortunately, for us at least, it was not a nice experience. After more than an hour, the food arrived and we thought it would be worth the wait, but it was much below expectations. The village is beautiful and there is certainly delicious food there. You just have to choose better!
