b_smart Hotel Bendern

Our family of three had a lovely stay! The hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location—just a 15–20 minute drive to Vaduz. There is also convenient free parking right in front. Please note that this is a fully self-check-in property; we didn't interact with any staff during our stay, which is why we couldn't give a full 5-star rating for service. The room featured a nice bathtub, though there was no electric kettle in the room (you can find one in the common area near the vending machines). The laundry room was also a great bonus. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Vaduz!

I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding the treatment my family and I received concerning our recent booking. 26th February was my daughter’s birthday, and we had planned to celebrate this special occasion at b-smart hotel Bendern. Unfortunately, I mistakenly selected the dates of 26th–27th March instead of 26th–27th February. As soon as I realized the error, I immediately contacted the team and sincerely pleaded for assistance in modifying the booking dates. Despite explaining that this was an honest mistake and a very special occasion for my daughter, the staff refused to help in any way, stating that the €150 payment was non-refundable and that no changes could be made. While I understand that policies exist, I am deeply disappointed by the complete lack of flexibility, understanding, or goodwill shown—especially toward visitors traveling from abroad. Hospitality should include compassion and reasonable consideration in situations like this. Instead, we were left feeling unsupported and unfairly treated. This experience has been upsetting, particularly on what should have been a joyful day for our family. I hope management will review this matter and reconsider how such situations are handled in the future.

It was one of the most efficient way of self checked in my years of travelling ! Other than not having a real receptionist to have a short conversation, l see no reason why all hotels can’t adopt this system ! In the room that we were in, the layout of the luggage and sitting in one is again efficiently designed, and being continuously extended next to the writing desk is so practical. Like the overall design of the sleeping and resting area in the room. Having both the shower and the bath in the bathroom in a spacious room gives and inviting feel, l had to have a bath and l did the following morning! And the filling of the bath tub was super fast ! Dining experience was great too. The best stay in these two weeks of travelling in Europe!!
