Hotel y Spa El Tejar

nice hotel with beautiful spacious rooms. Rooms include 2 proper seats and a desk with chair. The room comfortlevel is equal to a 4star hotel. (seats, bath, towels, soap and shampoo, hairblower, bedlight, etc.) Bathroom, shower and bed were all very comfortable. The view from the hotel is very nice. There are hiking trails nearby. Diner and breakfast are good, more then one would expect from a 2star hotel. Overall very positive experience and a good night

Exceptional We had a perfect stay at Hotel & Spa El Tejar on the weekend. Great location in the mountains, the view and atmosphere is perfect if you want same peace and relaxation and ideal for exploring Tenerife and hiking. Hotel with colonial architecture and very nice vibe. The staff was super friendly and amazing. Very clean room and comfortable bed. A very cozy area near the reception with soft sofas, where it’s fashionable to drink tea, chat with friends or work quietly. Nice pool and pool area. It is a pity we do not use spa zone but it looked great. The breakfast was exceptional, lots of fresh and homemade food. We found fresh fruits, vegetables, granola and yogurts, choices of salami, prosciutto and jamon, different cheeses, bacon & eggs, especially liked homemade omlette with tomatoes and potatoes, coffee machine, tea choices. We also had a wonderful evening meal there with their local dishes. A good choice if you want to taste local living vibe in a comfortable way. We will definitely get back there on our next visit to island

Great hotel that has recently changed owners. The new management is incredibly caring and truly makes sure you have a good experience during your stay. The rooms are comfortable and the whole place feels quiet and tranquil — perfect for rest. Breakfast is delicious — not huge, but with a nice variety of savory and sweet options. The garden feels like a little oasis at the foot of Mount Teide — calm, green, and full of charm.
