Its just incredible! Food was beyond and atmosphere as well. Very affordable for game meat. Will visit again!

Absolutely amazing place that allows overnight stay for camper-vans although there aren't any camper amenities. One note is that each 24h is counted from midnight to midnight so unless you arrive at midnight one night actually requires two tickets purchasable in the machine at the parking lot. There is a lake opposite the parking. The air is super fresh. Sun very warm quite early. Many hikers leave before sun comes out. Many hiking paths including our favorite alongside nearby waterfall. Free range cows, mini pig farm, a sauna, wooden lodge type hotel and a few family size wooden huts. Also nice restaurant and kids playground. The only issue was getting there with a big camper. And you gotta pay the entry to the national park at the gate (there might be a time limit on how late you can enter). And then the road to this magical valley is a bit narrow and people walk it so it's a little daunting. When leaving we left towards Switzerland and we didn't see the pay booth on our way out so maybe the payment is only when you arrive from Austria mainland.

Nice place for lunch break during a hike around the two lakes. Outdoor seating with lovely views of the smaller lake and the surrounding mountains. Very good fresh salad choices for anyone looking for a break from meat and potatoes. Very kid friendly playground with dozens of tricycles.
