We did a 3 night stay here upto 10 Sept 25. Great place, owners so friendly and great English speaking which makes life that bit easier. If you stay here, eat here. The evening meals were the best so far on our 6 week trip around Spain, can’t recommend highly enough👍 The standard of cleaning in the rooms, again 10/10 The only minor whinge would be, if only they supplied a fridge in the room, we knew there wasn’t one, but would have been really nice to have one To wrap up, great owners, great location, great value for money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We came for some quiet and tranquil time, and it was right on the spot. The only problem was it was an extraordinary hot time the first two days , which was unexpected. The owners, the staff , all are lovely people. The surrounding is so green and beautiful. Waking up to the sound of the bells of the sheep was extraordinarily a happy situation. It is close to all the surroundings of all the beautiful places of Asturias. It was really a breath of fresh air for us. For those who might want, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, but normally there was a no need. The rooms are kept very clean, the breakfast is a typical Spanish breakfast, which we love. This time we didn’t get to have dinner but I am sure it is good, Asian cuisine as we have been told. Surely we will visit Asturias, and this small, tranquil hotel in the future…

I didn't stay here this time as I was staying with a friend in Puertas de Vidiago but want to comment about Hotel Pugide's restaurant. The hotel has a small dining area for guests and the general public. Seating for perhaps 20 people. It is busy during high season and on weekends. The reason - tasty, quality, homemade, fresh food, good prices and a cuisine you would not expect in a tiny village nestled between the mountains and the sea in rural Asturias. The cook is from the Philippines. She uses local ingredients and creates delicious dishes, native to her country. To me traditional Asturian food is the best in Spain. The food here is not Asturian but is of the same quality. If you're not familiar with Philippine cuisine, give this place a try. Make sure you book a table!
