The Belmont Hotel

It's easy to see why customers come back to this lovely hotel time and time again. The hotel is set in the wonderful Devon town of Sidmouth with stunning views in all directions. Every effort was made by hotel staff to make our stay that as special as possible. The room we stayed in was warm, very clean,well decorated and furnished to a high standard. The meals regardless of the time of day were of a very high standard and a wide variety of choice. Another big in the hotels favour was the ample parking which was both free and secure. We went today for a 3 course lunch it was our 54th wedding anniversary last week and we had to cancel as I had a chest infection rebooked for today. It's the 1st time we have been to this hotel although we go to Sidmouth every few weeks and was more than impressed with the attentiveness of the staff to the very friendly waitresses and was blown away by the food. The choice of courses was amazing good sized portions and beautifully presented. We felt very relaxed we picked up a brochure on our way out and are very tempted to book to stay although we only live in Seaton. Although it was an horrendous day weather wise it didn't dampen the atmosphere. Very very impressed. Look forward to returning very soon. Thanks everyone for making our Anniversary one to remember.
