An Portán

Another stop along the Dingle Way ( well just off the path a little). The place was really nice and clean. The staff was really awesome as well, carried my suitcase to the room and showed me everything. The bed was very comfortable, good tv station selection, WiFi was fast and the location was a few feet from a great bar that served good food. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

This was our second favourite stay on our Dingle Way walk. Especially the shower is amazing, I spent a good 45 mins in there, using it as a massage. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large. The service was also very friendly, and we got to check in early cus we managed to hitch a ride for the last few km of our walk. The breakfast isn't very big, but was nice too

My sister and I stayed at An Portán last June. Room and bathroom was outdated, location was good, breakfast was delicious, owners were welcoming and informative. It was quiet and many hikers stay at this location. The scenery was lovely and the drive up the western coast of Ireland was amazing. Do go to the Blasket Island Centre if you are in that area.
